Open Data Day Düsseldorf 2018

Open Data Day Düsseldorf 2018

The Department of Information Science is hosting this year's Open Data Day in Düsseldorf. Our research areas include Open (Governmental) Data, Open Government, eGovernment and Citizen Science. These areas of research will be gathered together on this day and brought together with community projects, representatives of the administration and interested citizens. The scientific perspective is complemented by civil society involvement. Understanding the resulting dynamic processes, the dissemination, creation and use of open data are also research topics of the Department of Information Science. In the field of Citizen Science in particular, contact and cooperation with citizens and administrations are essential.<br>

For these reasons, we have involved a number of stakeholders in the programme in order to showcase, take up and discuss the manifold possibilities of Open Data, develop new research ideas and discuss them.
