Social Live Streaming Services

Social Live Streaming Services

Responsible person: Katrin Scheibe

In the last few years, with social live streaming services (SLSSs), a new type of social media emerged. Here, users are interacting in real-time. Streamers are filming themselves with the aid of a cellphone or a webcam and the audience is able to communicate with the streamer via chat messages. There is even the opportunity to bestow the streamer with gifts and other gratifications.
