African Languages Colloquium


We will continue the African Languages Colloquium at the Institute of Linguistics in the winter semester. Two talks are planned for this fall: Alice Mitchell (University of Cologne) will speak on Feedback signals in Datooga conversation and Koen Bostoen (University of Ghent) will speak on the Bantu expansion. 

October 28: Alice Mitchell (University of Cologne): “Feedback signals in Datooga conversation” at 10:30 a.m. in room 23.21.02.27

November 7: Koen Bostoen (UGhent Centre for Bantu Studies): “Reprobing the deep past of the languages, peoples, cultures, and environments in the Kwilu-Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.” at 2:30 p.m. in room 23.21.04.22
