Student assistant needed for Brain Awareness Week 2026

A bachelor's student fluent in German and English is needed to support the organization of the Brain Awareness Week 2026. Take a look at the previous Brain Awareness Week here to get an impression: www.ling.hhu.de/brain-awareness-week

The position involves three hours per week for three months to assist with the planning and management of the Brain Awareness Week 2026. 
 

The workload varies: Some weeks you will have to do preparatory work, while other weeks there will be less to do. On average, you will work 3 hours per week and some of the work can be done remotely. The duration is expected to be January 15th to April 15th and the hourly wage is 14,60€.

You will support the organization of the event, and the tasks will include, among others:

  • Advertising for the event in the form of posters and flyers, on and off campus and social media
  • Creating a contact database
  • In-person attendance at the events on March 17th and 20th

For your application, please submit your transcript of records (download from the student portal), a CV and a (short) letter of motivation with your interest and/or experience with Science Communication and/or Psycho- Neurolinguistics. Applications must be submitted in English.
