Die Düsseldorfer Informationswissenschaft
Das Curriculum der Informationswissenschaft an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf ist eingebunden in die B.A.- und M.A.-Studiengänge "Informationwissenschaft und Sprachtechnologie" sowie als Ergänzungsfach in den allgemeinen B.A.-Studiengang der Philosophischen Fakultät. Thematische Schwerpunkte sind u.a. Information Retrieval und Wissensrepräsentation, Methoden (Erstellen von Informationssystemen, Indexieren, Recherchieren), Empirische Informationswissenschaft (Retrievaltests, Informetrie, Usability), Wissensmanagement und Informationsmarkt.
Information Science in Duesseldorf
The curriculum of information science at the Heinrich-Heine-University Duesseldorf (Germany) is embedded in the B.A. and M.A. courses "Information Science and Language Technology" and is part of the general B.A. courses of the Fakulty of Arts and Humanities. Central topics are inter alia information retrieval and knowledge representation, methods (creation of information systems, indexing and retrieval techniques), empirical information science (retrieval tests, informetrics, usability), knowledge management and information market.
